knowledgeable staff and unbeatable location in the heart of thamel, everything was perfect. the room was good basic with private bathroom, the fan and beautiful views for a fine stay during this vacation. the price was usd 14. location: the hotel was just next door to katmandu, both restaurants and bahaktapur all. being a super close walk to gupta bhojanalaya was nice, we had dinner there.

I chose Mount Annapurna Guest House for its prime location in Thamel, Kathmandu's vibrant neighborhood. I wanted to visit Swayambhunath, which turned out to be just a short distance away. But what pleasantly surprised me was the availability of daily newspapers, travel guides, and travel journals. It provided me with the latest news and information about Nepal, adding to my overall experience. The restaurant also impressed me with its wide variety of cuisines, ranging from Continental to Chinese and Indian. , I appreciated the thorough cleaning process for all vegetables, salads, and utensils, ensuring a germ-free meal.
The wifi on the 3rd floor of Mount Annapurna Guest House, where I stayed twice during my vacation, was not always stable. While I could log in, connecting to the internet proved to be a challenge.

The double room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was good basic and spotlessly clean with big windows. Every staff member was KNOWLEDGEABLE and excellent.

Personally, I found the lack of an extra bed when sharing the room with my parents a bit inconvenient.

the reception guy was incredibly understanding and explained to me with calmness and tranquility how to come into the hostel after 10 pm. He answered my questions quietly, which was very soothing. the bed in the room was huge and the shower was incredibly hot. I was able to get warm water almost immediately, which was important due to the weather. the hotel was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds. the staff spoke good English and were kind and helpful at all times. I also used their travel agency to organize a trek, which was done quickly and satisfactorily. I had a great stay at this guest house. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.

I chose this hotel for attending a brainstorming session because they provide telephone and fax services, which were essential for my work. The staff was helpful in assisting me with these services, ensuring a smooth communication process.
I missed having access to a business center with modern office equipment, such as printers and scanners. It would have been convenient for my work if such facilities were available.

Great budget option with clean rooms and a nearly new bathroom. Hot water was readily available. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The location was convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel also offered airport pick-up/drop-off and reasonably priced tour packages.
The room I stayed in was quite cold, possibly due to the winter season. The hotel did provide a heater for an extra charge, but it would have been more comfortable if the room had been warmer.

The warm water showers were amazing, always available and with great water pressure. Mr. Raj and Bhim were incredibly helpful and kind, providing useful advice and making my stay enjoyable. The bed was huge and comfortable, with a thick duvet. The location was perfect, close to central Thamel but peaceful.
Nothing, all excellent.
